BEHIND THE CURTAIN
You ran the audit.
(And if you didn’t…open an incognito window and ask ChatGPT or Claude “Who is [your name]?” right now. I’ll wait.)
You saw the gap. Maybe the description was wrong. Maybe it was thin. Maybe there was nothing there at all. Here’s the part nobody tells you: Closing the gap of where you aren’t seen is where almost everyone stalls.
Not because they don’t care. Because they don’t have a system: a clear, repeatable answer to the question “what do I actually do today?”
So this issue is about exactly that. The daily moves that turn a visibility gap into a visibility advantage: and how to make them stick.
The Daily Visibility System
Most people treat their personal brand like a New Year’s resolution. A burst of effort, then silence. Then eighteen months later, the same cycle repeated.
Visibility doesn’t compound in bursts. It compounds in reps. Here’s the weekly (tested) rhythm that actually moves the needle:
MONDAY — Position
Before you post anything, get clear on the one thing you want to be known for this week. Not five things. One. Open your LinkedIn headline and ask: would a stranger understand what I do and who I help in five seconds?
TUESDAY–THURSDAY — Publish
Three pieces of authority content built around real questions people are asking. Use AnswerThePublic or AlsoAsked to find them. Answer one clearly. That’s it. Humans and AI both reward specificity over volume.
FRIDAY — Signal
Spend fifteen minutes pitching yourself as a source. Connectively, Qwoted, Source of Sources. One pitch a week becomes fifty third-party citations a year—the exact signal AI weighs most heavily.
MONTHLY — Track
Re-run your “Who is [your name]?” searches. Check your LinkedIn search appearances. Note what changed. What gets measured gets refined.
One last bit I want to mention. I have many conversations daily about what people may think of the person who is showing up and going down rabbit holes on this topic which leads to fear, uncertainty and doubt.
1. No one is thinking more about you than you are thinking about yourself.
2. I want you to imagine yourself talking and serving that one person within your audience vs a room of 2000 people or standing on stage at MSG.
Your 10-minute homework: Build your week
Take ten minutes and map it out:
- What’s the ONE thing you want to be known for this week?
- What three questions does your audience actually ask that you could answer
- Who’s one journalist or platform you could pitch as a source this Friday
- When this month will you re-run your AI self-search?
Write it down. A system you can see is a system you’ll actually run.
Now what if you didn’t have to remember any of this???
Here’s what I keep seeing bubble up. People love the framework. They’d run the audit, feel the urgency, map the week.
And then Wednesday would hit. The plan would slip. The momentum would die.
So I built the thing that keeps it from dying!

P.S. Know someone doing great work who keeps getting overlooked? Forward this to them. Sometimes the nudge to get visible has to come from someone who already sees them.
