BEHIND THE CURTAIN
Hi everyone,
First, thank you for registering for today’s webinar. for those of you who did!
Ironically, it ended up being the highest RSVPed event I’ve ever hosted… and also the one that experienced the biggest technology challenges. I decided to send this email to my entire list so you know exactly where I am at.
I want to sincerely apologize to anyone who had difficulty accessing the session. We tested everything multiple times beforehand, and while some attendees were able to join without issue, others experienced technical problems that were completely outside of what I anticipated.
If you know me, you know I talk often about showing up, being willing to be a beginner, and owning mistakes publicly. So that’s exactly what I’m doing here.
I spent a significant amount of time preparing for this event because I genuinely wanted it to provide value. I created resources, assembled tools, and partnered with a company to provide attendees with a special offer because my goal is simple: help more people at scale.
That’s why webinars became part of my strategy this year.
What disappointed me most wasn’t the technology itself. It was knowing that some of you were trying to join while I was very distracted troubleshooting instead of being fully present and focused on delivering the experience I intended.
Entrepreneurship has a funny way of teaching humility. Sometimes your biggest opportunities arrive alongside your biggest lessons.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who showed up, supported me, extended grace, and reminded me that we’re all human.
The replay is included below, and I hope you’ll take the time to watch it. I have another event coming up in person June 25 ( publishing this week), and then again virtually July 14. I hope you will try to join again.
